Walk 4: Digging into history

£6.00

Join us for a walk to Postlip to the site of a recently discovered Iron Age and Roman settlement, where the investigations and finds will be explained by the archaeologist who carried out the work.  We meet a local metal detectorist and learn about intriguing finds and the people who once lived in this landscape.  We then climb onto Cleeve Common  and towards Belas Knap Long Barrow, to further explore the prehistoric and later landscape.  We walk down to pick up transport back to Winchcombe. Please bring a picnic lunch.
