We meet at Postip Mill car park, off Cheltenham Road (GL54 5BB) where we will be joined by members of the National Grid team on a walk following footpaths skirting Cleeve Common, Wontley Farm and Hill Barn close to where the existing overhead line could be removed and replaced with cables underground. Hear first hand about the engineering challenges, how they care for the natural environment, investigate potential archaeology and work with the community. Bring a picnic lunch.
