Walk 21: Lions and the high wolds

Meet outside the Black Horse (GL54 3AD) in Naunton village, once a farming and quarrying community, located on the River Windrush. We hear from a sheep breeder about the famous Cotswold Lion sheep often found grazing here before we climb out of the valley heading south towards the hamlet of Notgrove.  The walk is undulating crossing valleys as we link up with several long distance paths to return via Aylworth. Please park considerately in the village. Bring a picnic lunch.
