Walk 2: Lovely Langley

We take the service bus to Alderton with its half-timbered cottages, we strike out across open farmland towards the distant hills. On reaching Stanley Pontlarge with its historic church, we make the long but steady ascent of Langley hill, admiring the superb long-distance views of the Vale of Evesham. After crossing the flat top of Langley Hill (298 metres) we finally descend steadily, enjoying panoramic views of Winchcombe nestling in the Isbourne valley below us. Cost of transport not included, please bring a bus pass. Bring a picnic lunch.
