30 Jan Mac Adventures’ Champion of Service has been won by The Lion, Winchcombe.
We already know that when it comes to walking, Winchcombe truly goes the extra mile as a Walkers are Welcome town. That spirit was perfectly demonstrated when a group of international visitors staying in Winchcombe experienced a medical emergency. When one of the group became seriously ill, Karyn not only cared for her until the emergency services arrived, but also went on to accompany her to hospital and arrange accommodation for her friends while their companion was receiving treatment.
This exceptional care and kindness has been recognised by Mac Adventures, and we extend our congratulations to Karyn and The Lion on winning this well-deserved award.
