Launch of the new River Coln Trail

Winchcombe and Fairford Walkers are Welcome groups have been collaborating for over three years to create the River Coln Trail. Despite set backs, we are pleased to announce the launch  on Saturday 23rd March in Fairford.

The Trail takes you through some of the finest unspoilt countryside in the Cotswolds, starting from Winchcombe the trail leads to the source before following the River Coln through to where it meets the River Thames at Inglesham, near Lechlade

 
The launch will feature displays depicting the nine circular walks which make up the trail and copies of the comprehensive Coln Trail booklet will be available.  There will also be a display of photographs and information created by Sarah Lovatt, on the range of insects which can be found on the Fairford section of the trial
 
Guest of honour at the launch will be Kate Ashbrook, Patron of Walkers are Welcome Towns Network and General Secretary of the Open Spaces Society
