28 Jul Cotswolds Way temporary route from summer 2026
If you are walking the Cotswold Way around Birdlip please be aware the Cotswold Way has a diversion. The temporary route will be sign posted and take you via Ullenwood, Rushwood Kennels and Birdlip Radio Station. Note: The temporary route adds 4km / 2.5 miles and 50-60 minutes to your journey on foot unless you take the diverted route direct to/from the Star College and miss Crickley Hill.
This is a temporary route for the Cotswold Way in Summer 2026 to allow National Highways to undertake work on the A417.
